I was not at all happy with this product. I thought it was going to be more user friendly and I would have more freedom of use. I found it to be very limited; in what it lets you do. You buy this product; so that you don’t have too buy a costly Macro lens… because of it’s limits, it is a product I will only use if I have no other way to take the picture.

I don’t see a big boost using these close-up filters. The limitations to the close-up photography due to the camera’s minimum focus distance controls how close your can get to you subject for macro-photography. Using these is simply a means of telling yourself that you are doing macro- but unfortunately you are not getting anything significantly better than you would with just your camera. Best not to waste your money on this.

First off, I want to commend the folks at Video & Camera Center, Inc for getting the filters to me in a very prompt manner. I ordered the filters on Thursday June 25th and received them in the mail today in perfect condition! Excellent job!
Secondly, to the naysayers who feel that the nylon pouch they come in is somehow “substandard”…my only question is, “Are you NUTS?” The filters each fit snugly in their own pockets within a secure, duo-fold pouch that fits very easily into a gadget bag. No, they don’t each come in a plastic “dish” but who NEEDS one? These are filters to USE, not simply “admire” in your gadget bag!
For the price, (9.99 plus S&H), these are very fine filters and are perfect for the person who only takes the occasional macro shot and has no need for an overpriced macro lens that they may only use once or twice a month (if that). If you’re looking for a good quality, macro magnifying filter set that comes in a pack of +1, +2, +4 and +10 for less than 10 dollars, you could do far worse than this set from Video & Camera Center, Inc in Miami, FL. I highly recommend this set to anyone who wants to get their feet wet in the area of Macro Photography but wants to avoid the exorbitant prices for an actual macro lens. The kit I got is a set of 4 52mm filters, but they are available from the source in larger sizes as well. The prices may be higher for the larger filters.

great price and good delivery time (from super deal)
they delivered it one day before estimated delivery time!
as stated above, the glass on the 10x lens was very loose when i got it and although i probably wont be using that much, it was a bit disappointing.
the filter wallet isn’t the best quality. it looks like something you can get at the dollar store. it even has a cheap plasticky smell.
good for the price though.
